She actually finished another painting!

Orange Slice, 13 x 13 inches, soft pastel on paper.

At long last. I needed a break, but this was getting ridiculous. I had a lot of fun with this one; now I'm dying to do more.

It looks a lot better on a white background; click the image to pop it out.

Finally, I can ship all the pieces for my May 30 show.

  1. Beautiful, KIm. You are a master at glass. Is this the show in MA?

  2. This is just beautiful! I love the way you handled the light coming through the orange slice and the reflections of light on the bowl.

  7. Amazing Kim!

The yellows, oranges, whites, and blacks....the color combinations are just striking together!

Excellent job capturing the translucent quality of the orange slices and the highlights on the bowl. Not an easy thing to do!

This looks like an oil painting. Hard to believe this is done in pastels!

    Just amazing!
