You thought I'd given up on this one...and so did I! But I've gotten back in gear and made some progress. This is a challenge for me because of the high key and low contrast. I've had to be very disciplined with my palette, and although this painting may never be anything special, the practice will certainly pay off.
The color is much more true-to-life in the second pic.
